I may have just gotten a temp programming job! yay! my uncle's job needs some web work done, and they were thinking about putting an add in the paper but didn't. they're a non profit business so that could be why. my uncle gave the higher up my name and i called just a little while ago. looking at the sight, i was a bit worried because it looked like they had a donation button. for those of you who don't know, handling money with your own script (aka, not paypall) is very difficult to do. your script must be virtually perfect or the banks won't even knowledge it! So I was worried if i could even do anything for them. when i called, the person pretty much told me that all that was needed was to add dynamic stuff. mostly just a database so they can do surveys etc. This is like bread and butter to me! now all i have to do is figure out how much to charge them for this...I'm a horrible business person! anyways, go me for i will be making at least a bit of cash in the near future! On a bus ride to a museum of sorts, my peers an I are discussing what to do when we are done. At one point; Person 1:"I know, lets play ultimate frisbee!" Me:"How many frisbees do we have?" Person 1:"Well I have one in my car-" Me:"Just one!?" Person 1:"Why would you need more?" Person 2:"Its more fun with more frisbees!" Person 1:"But...how would...you play with two...?" Me:"Nah, it doesn't get fun until you have at least THREE frisbees!" This went on for a while and we thoroughly confused person 1. Humorously enough, we ended up finding two more frisbees on the drive back XD Comments: (0)
